PLDT-Smart Foundation, Inc. renewed its commitment to support UPCOE Faculty. Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan signed the deed of donation for the five-year extension of the PLDT-SMART Foundation Professorial Chair with UPCOE Dean Ferdie Manegdeg and UPERDFI President Rico Trinidad on November 12, 2019. He also expressed his desire to set up an additional two chairs, adding to the many chairs sponsored by various companies in his investment portfolio: Philex Mining (2 chairs) Maynilad Water (5) and Meralco/MIESCOR (3); and scholarships from Metro-Pacific Tollways.
