Led by Singapore-based Grace Ke of the James Dyson Foundation, in discussions with AD Juvy Balbarona and UPERDFI member Prof Rhod Gonzalez, JDF released the funds for five Thesis Support Grants and five idea development papers for AY 2020-21.

The availability of the grants have been advertised by UPCOE. The first discussions with James Dyson regarding a collaborative partnership were done in 2016, when the company opened their plant in Laguna.
