The Innovation Committee will publish a report on the second dialogue held December 7 with the UPCOE College Academic Personnel Committee and the College Management Committee. This dialogue picked up from where the first dialogue (October 2020) left off and generated a UPCOE SWOT in the context of research output not making it to market. There was also a call for action with potential activities identified for 2021. A third workshop is being considered to generate specific action plans.
The committee is currently finalizing its proposal to establish an Integral Innovation Model that will be used to help College research results achieve commercialization. The model will require close coordination with the UPD TTBDO and UPSCALE, UP’s Innovation Hub. The Memoranda of Understanding are currently being finalized as cited above.
