This will be the highlight presentation in the inaugural UPCOE Public Policy Lecture Series, scheduled on March 26 (2-5 PM). UPCOE, UP National Engineering Center, and UPERDFI are the co-organizers. Dean Manegdeg has mobilized the UP NEC as the organizing platform for the virtual event. The results of the ESM were taken up with Senator Win Gatchalian, Chairman of the Senate Energy Committee on February 5.
In the Public Policy Lecture, lead researcher Dr. Mike Pedrasa, EEEI Director, will make the presentation, with panelists from Government and Industry.
UPERDFI president Ferdz de la Cruz has also received an invitation from the Energy Committee of the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) for a meeting on May 20, 2021. Dr. Pedrasa will lead the technical presentation. MAP was involved with the project right from the start in July 2019, when then MAP President Riza Mantaring asked then MAP Energy Committee Chairman Baste Quiniones to take an active part; he became a member of the Technical Advisory Panel.
