The Management Committee for 2021-22, led by Pres Val Reyes, convened on June 16 to level-off on the objectives, processes and expectations of the members. The purpose of the ManCom was summarized into four: target-setting and resourcing initiatives, reviewing operations and projects, problem-solving, and decision-making.
Membership Committee chairman Dante Briones also proposed to revitalize the Technology Hour, through zoom webinars. The Tech Hour is an avenue for industry to raise challenges that need engineering R&D solutions, and for academe to showcase their leading research. Our members and colleagues can look forward to our Tech Hour series.
