We share the news with pride that UPERDFI Treasurer and former UP College of Engineering Dean Edgardo Atanacio has been appointed by the UP Foundation, Inc. (UPFI) Board of Trustees to serve as its Executive Director effective July 1, 2021.
Prior to this, Dean Ega has served as Treasurer with Executive Director Gerardo Agulto and UP President Danilo Concepcion who is also the UPFI Chairman and President. Dean Ega has been actively involved in academic foundations, notably UPERDFI and the Philippine Science High School Foundation.
UPERDFI collaborates with UPFI and the Friends of UP Foundation in America (FUPFA) in mobilizing support from engineering alumni in the US. We wish the very best to Dean Ega on this new chapter of his service to the University of the Philippines!
