UPERDFI member Raymund Arnold S. Alberto (GE ‘93) is being recognized by the UP Alumni Association as Distinguished Alumnus in the field of Entrepreneurship and Job Creation. Popularly known by his initials, RASA, he has generously contributed to the advancement of the Geodetic Engineering profession, which started in 1994 when he set up RASA Surveying and Realty Corporation. The RASA Group has blossomed into a full-service operation in the Philippines and in the region, with advanced technology and equipment. Aside from providing support to UP DGE faculty and student projects, the company sponsors two professorial chairs: the RASA Surveying Chair in Geodetic Engineering, and the Policarpio and Nenita Alberto Chair in Geomatics.
The UPAA Awarding Ceremony is scheduled this October 2021.
