| The UP College of Engineering COVID-19 response is one of the recipients of the 4th Gawad Pangulo: Award for Excellence in Public Service. The awarding ceremony will be held virtually on December 16, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NN via the TVUP YouTube channel. Other Gawad Pangulo Awardees are the UP College of Law’s Lingap Legal sa Panahon ng Pandemya, UP Diliman COVID-19 Task Force and UP Diliman Psychological Services (UPD PsycServ). The COVID-19 Response Team (CRT) was formed under the leadership of Dean Ferdinand G. Manegdeg. Fourteen projects by Engineering faculty and researchers have been assessed and approved by the CRT as an urgent response to the crisis. These projects were made possible through the support from generous donors and benefactors who coursed their hard-earned donations through UPERDFI and UPAE. |
