The Friends of UP Foundation in America (FUPFA) has remitted its commitment of USD 125,000 for the High Performance Computing Project. FUPFA is a 501(c)3 charitable organization based in San Francisco, California. We thank the FUPFA Board headed by its Chairman, UP President Danilo L. Concepcion, and Vice-Chairman Atty. Lourdes Santos-Tancinco for supporting the project. We also recognize the contributions of FUPFA CFO Polly Cortez and FUPFA Trustee Vic Villagracia for donating to the HPC project and for coordinating the fundraising. The concerted effort of UP alumni and friends here and abroad will successfully help establish the necessary digital infrastructure for the optimization of high-impact research and instruction in engineering.
The UP Foundation, Inc., also headed by UP President Danilo L. Concepcion and Executive Director Edgardo Atanacio donated a significant amount to the High Performance Computing Project, rounding up the fundraising campaign.
