UPERDFI hosted a reception to welcome the UP College of Engineering Leadership Team headed by Dean Maria Antonia “Tonette” Tanchuling on September 29, 2022 at the Melchor Hall Faculty Lounge. Dean Tonette presented her Vision Paper, tagged ENGGAGE!, which is anchored on engaging the UP Engineering community towards sustainable national development. President Chicho shared UPERDFI’s major thrusts to support COE, orchestrate projects with societal impact and fully tap its network.

The UPERDFI and COE leaders also had a productive discussion on increasing the relevance of UP engineering R&D in terms of improving national policies and concerns, addressing industry needs, and contributing to community development.
