| Emmanuel Pornillos delivered the Distinguished Alumni Lecture hosted by the Dept. of Mining, Metallurgy and Materials Engineering on September 26 at the UP DMMME. He also signed the Deed of Donation for the Prof. Emmanuel U. Pornillos Professorial Chair in Mining Engineering. The donor, Prof. Pornillos belongs to the illustrious Class of 1965. He has over 55 years of professional and academic experience in mine tailings technology in Canada and South America. He is currently engaged as an independent consultant and a graduate school professor in Peru. |
