The Borland Group, led by President Vicente Hao Chin Jr. and VP Araceli Chan, has decided to set up two professorial chairs in honor of Pablito R. Hao Chua. A UPERDFI Member, Pablito was the President of Borland until his untimely demise in August 2021. Recall that at his lead, Borland set up two chairs in honor of parents, Vicente and Juanita Hao Chin in 2014-15. Pablito supported several initiatives, including hosting UPCOE research projects in Materials Engineering and our Student Wellbeing Program. The professorial chair awards will be allocated for research works in Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering.
