Led by UPERDFI member Raymund Alberto being the President and CEO, RASA Surveying and Realty signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of the Philippines, through its Training Center for Applied Geodesy and Photogrammetry (TCAGP) on May 4, 2023. This is meant to strengthen the existing partnership between the two institutions, focusing on academic cooperation and mutual understanding. This agreement sets the groundwork for collaborative research, student internships, and the sharing of data and information to support the advancement of the geodetic engineering field.
RASA Surveying is a major benefactor of the Department of Geodetic Engineering, hosting faculty and student projects, lending equipment and donating to various programs. Raymund, GE ’93, sponsors two professorial chairs in GE and Geomatics. During the ceremony, he surprised Dean Tonette and the audience, saying he will set up another chair!
