We proudly announce that Dr. Rowena Cristina L. Guevara has joined the UPERDFI Council of Advisers! The Council of Advisers was formed to be a resource of ideas and to serve as link to networks of government, business, academic and nonprofit sectors, which pursue the same advocacies as UPERDFI.
Dr. Guevara is currently the Department of Energy Undersecretary. Prior to this, she served as the Undersecretary for Research and Development at the Department of Science and Technology; Dean of the UP College of Engineering and the Executive Director of NEC in UP Diliman; and Executive Director of DOST-PCIEERD.
She has received several awards for her continuous effort for excellence such as the 2019 Metrobank ACES, 2017 GAWAD CES Award, and 2011 Gawad Chanselor para sa Natatanging Guro.
Dr. Guevara was also part of the UPERDFI Board of Trustees for nine years. With her decades of leadership and experience in the academic, public and nonprofit sectors, Dr. Guevara is truly a wellspring of wisdom for the Foundation.
