Distinguished Alumni Award for Education and Societal Development – Filomena Magno Cantoria. She is a retired faculty member of the College of Business Administration. With her siblings (who are all UP alumni) Thelma Magno Makasiar, Marie Magno Advani and Mario Magno (UPERDFI member), they set up a Scholarship Fund in UPCOE in honor of their parents, Manuel and Carmen Magno.
Presidential Award – Norberto Mendoza. A UPERDFI member, Bert is the tireless chairman of the Tau Alpha Foundation, Inc. that built the Tau Alpha Boardwalk along Roces Avenue and organized the donation of the Castillo Sculpture at the Melchor Hall West Lawn.
Distinguished Service Award (Alumni Chapter) – Epsilon Chi Fraternity. EpChi members who are active in UPERDFI include Advisers former DOST Secretary Boy de la Pena and former DOE Secretary Sonny Viray; Trustee Noly Torres; and Members Lito San Juan, Ray Goco, Frankie Arellano, Elmir de la Cruz, Rene Bello and Raffy Aguila.

Dr. Gisela Concepcion, the lead person of the Philippine-American Academy for Science and Engineering (PAASE), was cited for the Lifetime Distinguished Achievement Award. PAASE is a collaborating partner of UPERDFI.
