DIEOR Chairman Raymond Lagria led IE alumni, faculty and students in the unveiling ceremony for the DIEOR Golden Pillars Projects on October 21, 2023 at the IEME Building Lobby. UPCOE Dean Tonette Tanchuling and UPIE Alumni Association President Jomari Mercado did the ribbon-cutting honors for the Integrated Product Design and Development Laboratory, which was done with a specified donation by Eric Recto, IE ’82. The unveiling of the Donor Wall which lists the Golden Pillars Donors as of September 30, 2023 was also carried out.
The Golden Pillars Campaign to set up facilities, scholarships and faculty support (professorial chairs and training) started in July 2021 to kick off the golden jubilee of the founding of DIEOR. Its founding chairman was Dr. Luis Pascual, who was one of the incorporators of UPERDFI in 1972.
