Fluor Daniel, Inc. – Philippines, represented by its Regional Manager for Southeast Asia Operations, David Djojodihardjo, led the ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Fluor Lecture Room at the Department of Mining, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in UP Diliman on October 20, 2023.
Fluor also signed the Deed of Donation for the funding of the Electrical Machines Laboratory Upgrade which will be used to procure modern laboratory equipment that will boost the hands-on learning experience of students at the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute. The DOD was signed by UPERDFI Chairman Alex Sy and witnessed by Fluor GUSP Executive Sponsor Arthur Aycardo, UPCOE Dean Tonette Tanchuling, EEEI Chairman Lew Tria and UPERDFI ED Tito Aliga (for Project Representative Chicho Mantaring). The Flour Team came in full force, including UPCOE alumnae Rowena Quirimit, Eden Catalla and UPERDFI member Joanne Angtuaco, and UP link Abe Jun Clarito.
