UPERDFI joined the online consultation on November 6, 2023, organized by UPSCALE to identify gaps and challenges in industry-academe engagements. UPSCALE is currently working with the UP System TTBDO and the UP CHIP Program for industry reverse pitching events and the improvement of pair-UP, an internship platform of UPAA.
UPERDFI Executive Director Tito Aliga, Corporate Secretary Fred Chua, Innovation Committee Co-Chair Chicho Mantaring, Member Bobby Batungbacal and Deputy Executive Director Norika Ishikawa joined the meeting and shared their experiences working with academe. UPSCALE will continue brainstorming solutions to address these gaps.
