Five UP Engineering teams comprising BS Metallurgical Engineering seniors presented their research on sustainable alternatives in solvometallurgy to the J. Amado Araneta Foundation, Inc. at the Araneta Center. Representing JAAF were Trustee Rowell Recinto, ExeComm Member Edith Casidsid, Executive Director Christine Diane Romero, Deputy ED Glenda Dawn Carlota, Program Officer Yasmin Sofia Medina and Administrative Officer Leonor Carmela Gealogo. Neil Parin and Danica Berunio of the ACI, Inc. Business Development Department also joined.
UPCOE Associate Dean for Student Affairs Kate Tungpalan, UPERDFI ED Tito Aliga and DED Norika Ishikawa accompanied the students in meeting with the donors.
JAAF continues to support five student teams this second semester.
