In a letter dated April 23, 2024 to UPERDFI, UP President Angelo Jimenez informed us of the appointment of our member UP VP Dan Peckley as the UP Representative to our Board of Trustees! Dan, who holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo and served in the ICE Faculty for several years before he left the faculty in the mid-2000s to set up DPJ Construction. The company is based in his hometown of Tabuk City, Kalinga, and is involved in development projects there. He was elected to our Board in 2016 for a 3-year term.
With his experience, Dan is built for the job! The UP VP for Development Office is tasked to implement numerous construction projects in the UP System.
We acknowledge with much thanks our member Ferdinand (Boyet) Pecson, who served in our Board during his tenure as VP for Development from March 2023.
