UPAABC Board Member and Scholarships head Anita Aytona and husband Tony Aytona (EE’71) visited the UP College of Engineering on July 12 to meet with ADSA Kate Tungpalan, UPERDFI ED Tito Aliga and DED Norika Ishikawa to discuss the status of the scholarship program. The UPAABC Scholarship Program was started in 2021-22 when Anita was the association president.
UPAABC members Vicki Rubio-Buechler, Ana Benedicto, Melissa Briones, CC Alcantara, Evelyn Mayuga and Vic Ingco are supporting six scholars in the College of Engineering. Four of the scholars are expected to graduate this AY 2023-24. UPAABC will offer slots to four new scholars, maintaining its support for six students.
