Dr. Ronaldo Borja (CE ’77, scl) hosted a VIP Tour and a lunch with Adviser Chato Calderon and CorSec Ronnie Nolasco at the Stanford University on July 10. Ronnie is a Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and the only Filipino-American faculty member at Stanford, where he received his PhD.
Dr. Borja will briefly visit the Philippines and looks forward to conducting a roundtable discussion with UPCOE’s young faculty and graduating students who are interested in pursuing a PhD degree at Stanford. He will discuss what opportunities are available, particularly financial support and scholarships. This is tentatively scheduled on August 23, Friday.
