US-based alumnus Denis Carpio, ChE ’65 and his wife Martha made a significant donation of P1.0 Million to the High Performance Computing Lab Project! This brought our running total to P2.1 Million and $21,200, on top of the pledged support from UP of P3.4 Million and $125,000 from the Friends of the University of the Philippines Foundation of America (FUPFA). The $21,200 includes $10,000 that Daniel Reyes, EE ’67, added to the first donation he gave in early August.
Denis and Martha also gave P1.5 Million, the largest contribution, to the UPCOE COVID-19 Projects Fund last March.
