In the project launch on December 5, Philippine Constructors Association (PCA) stalwarts Levy Espiritu, Dante Abando, Lilit Tumbocon and Roger Murga threw their full support to the American Concrete Institute Philippines (ACIP) Project to search for built structures that demonstrate the innovative uses of concrete. ACIP is headed by member Ramon Allado, with ICE Prof. Christian Orozco being the Vice President.
Note that in 2019, the UPICE team led by Christian copped the grand prize in the ACI student competition in Montreal, Canada. Ramon plans to mobilize and ACI student chapters to look out for nominations in their respective regions. Entries will be those whose construction were completed in 2018 to 2020.
