With the submission of the final report in early December, the effort to disseminate the results is being coordinated by Technical Advisory Panel Chairman Pete Maniego. Initial discussions with the Senate Energy Committee Chairman, Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, and DOE leaders are being arranged. Thereafter, focused discussions with various audiences in industry will be set up. President Ferdz de la Cruz drives the entire initiative.
Using the same Low Emission Analysis Platform (LEAP), the ESM Project Team headed by Dr. Mike Pedrasa is continuing the project to cover Visayas and Mindanao. The scope expansion is supported by UP Research Funds. Member Roger Buendia who is an adjunct professor in the UP Energy Engineering Program, continues to provide support for the project.
