The UPERDFI Board of Trustees headed by Chairman Alex Sy and President Chicho Mantaring met face-to-face for the first time in three years on February 15 at the NEC Executive Board Room.
The Board welcomed UP Alumni Engineers President Joey Gomez as ex-officio Trustee replacing Anton Pascual. Corporate Secretary Bong Minguez was also appointed as Chairman of the Audit Committee replacing former UP VP Lisa Bersales who has been appointed to NEDA as head of the Population Commission.
ED Tito Aliga presented the operations highlights and Finance and Investment Officer Mike Magana presented the financial highlights of 2022 to apprise the Board on the performance of the organization. The Committee Chairmen reported on their various initiatives and plans for the final stretch of their respective terms until May 2023.
