The ICE Student Lounge is now open for students to relax, recharge and reconnect with their peers. UPERDFI is grateful to our generous donors – Luz Consuelo David (in honor of her departed husband Antonio David, CE ’71), UPERDFI Adviser Rosario “Chato” Calderon, Jason Valderrama of JCV and Associates, MJ Ringor of Mundo Builders, Inc and Kristine Guiao Pascual of Kolor Furniture Inc. for their staunch support to student wellness.
UPERDFI President Chicho Mantaring and ED Tito Aliga joined the Inauguration of the UP ICE Student Lounge on March 15, 2023. The program, which included recognition of donors and ceremonial signing of Deeds of Donation, was held at the David M. Consunji Theater before the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the 2/F Student Lounge. UP President Atty. Angelo Jimenez, OIC UPD Chancellor Dr. Teresa Payongayong, COE Dean Dr. Maria Antonia Tanchuling, and UPERDFI President Chicho Mantaring shared their messages.
The event was organized by the UP Institute of Civil Engineering headed by Director Dr. Jose Regin Regidor and hosted by ICE Associate Director for Student Affairs Asst. Prof. Jaime Angelo Victor.
