UP President Angelo Jimenez welcomed the delegates of the Kaohsiung Lin Hai Industrial Park Manufacturers Association (LHIPMA) on October 10 at the UP Executive House. The group signed an MOU with UP for collaborative projects in industrial research and modernization and post-graduate scholarships. UPD Chancellor Carlo Vistan and various UP System and UPD officials were also in attendance at the event. UPCOE Dean Tonette Tanchuling and Associate Deans Eric Tingatinga and Wali del Mundo; UPAE President Joey Gomez; and UPERDFI Chairman Alex Sy and members Val Reyes, Chicho Mantaring, Sonny Laigo, Manfred Guangko, and Tito Aliga also attended. Sonny and Manfred were able to start conversations with their counterparts for possible collaboration.
